Scam creation of an account and charges to my credit card!

I received a package from this company surprised to see that I never ordered the product. Then my credit card was charged $ 73.00 and the package even has my cell number.

Called them and asked them how they got a hold of my information, they had no answer and then i asked them to close my account with them, asked for a reference number could not give me one.

I asked them how to return the product so I can trace the sender, they said throw away the product. they offered a return shipping label sent to my email but I refused to give them my email address.

I told them to send the return label to FedEx local location refused to do that too.

Fraudulant charges

Had 2 charges on my CC that I did not make. Called the company & as the other customer stated she wanted my full credit card number and other personal info that I was uncomfortable giving her.

She found the charges and ask if I knew anyone named Beverly Lewis & I told her know but she wouldn't give any other information about who this was. She stated that she would refund the amounts but then said that she could not get the refund to go thru but that she would get her supervisor to handle it and promised the refund would be refunded to my card. I immediately called the bank and reported the fraudulent charges & they have issued me a new card. I then looked for more info on this company and have found several others with the same type of problem.

Do not allow this company to get you too. Report Immediately if you see their name on you CC & didn't authorize it.

same thing happened to me with 5 fraudulent charges. These occurred shortly after EBay stopped using Pay Pal and started using CC instead. anyone else notice this or maybe it is just coincidence?

Good for you that it was a credit card. Imagine the nightmare if it was a debit card and they had YOUR money and not the bank's.

Friends dont let friends sell or buy Advocare

Updated by user May 14, 2015

I have already wasted enough time with this ridiculous, multilevel marketing scam, this will be my one and only retort. If you feel like you need to defend your stance on this company, do not expect me to allow you to affect my opinion.

In response to my post, these were just light notes and not as harsh as what I truly wanted to post. I want to clarify that the "Avotards comment was originally dedicated to the woman (who are normally the smarter of the 2 species) who are drinking spark while pregnant and other that our giving it to their young children. The mind of a child while forming does not need to be over stimulated with excessive caffeine, B12 or Bull ***.

Not everyone at this Avotard convention looked like a circus freak show.

The one that stuck out excessively was the guy that over developed his lats, bicep and triceps causing him to resemble a walking cobra with a tiny little head. In his defense he was the smartest of the herd, being able to quote all Advoscares technical information. He just reminded me of the character in "Beetle Juice" sitting in the waiting room with a shrunken head.

My rant is not based alone on the $80 dollars that were stolen from me, it is also based on the cult like behavior of this Kool-Aid sipping group.

I fortuity left the temple before Jim Jones arrived. These cult like meetings that Advoscare holds weekly (Special ED success school) conditions their sale team much like Adolf Hitler conditioned the Nazi SS youth. The only thing that Advoscare left out of the Special ED success school was to water your plants and grass with Spark, make Arnold S. President, put a gym coach and personal trainer selling spark on every corner.

They could make a movie about these people and call it "Idi-o-crazy".

During the speeches, one particular woman carried on excessively about the "fire in her belly" over and over and over and over again. While her hand was rubbing underneath her stomach. I almost stood up and told her to contact her gynecologist before something fell out.

If you call Advoscare and just listen to the holding message, it is pure company conditioning. Call them for yourself and you be the judge. For the record, Spark is a little better than mediocre. The products that I was slamming were "Slam" and "Rehydrate", they were absolutely worthless.

I feel pity for the American Soccer League that is being forced to represent this useless product. They will need a nap time between each half of play. As for you who do not appreciate the value of the 1st amendment rights, please allow me to address you with a quote from your reply, "the facts do not matter." I appreciate that you are standing up for a brand that is self serving you. In reality world, THE FACTS are the ONLY thing that matters.

Do you not realize that the basis of multilevel sales are FAILURE!! They expect you to buy in, and then for you to push your products onto your close family and friends, they KNOW that you will not go any further than this. IF you do, good for you. However I can promise you that you will not continue to collect a residual income from Advoscare for the rest of your life.

By all means continue to do what you are doing, waste your time. But please refrain to collecting welfare when you fail, the rest of us are tired of supporting those that cannot tell reality from fiction. To explain to the common "Advotard", when I mentioned getting a grant, this allows me to get true information without the influence of corporate agenda's forced upon me. I.E.

Gatorade may give me a grant, but strings would be attached. I hope that this makes sense to you because I have a great difficulty dumbing things down. The individual that took me to this event is a solid stand up guy. I believe that in time he will distance himself from this temple of Kool-Aid drinking Advotards.

I even told him that during the meeting that he is the only one that could have talked me into even considering walking through the doors. My biggest issue with this company is not the $80.00 that they stole from me, I will survive, it is the fact that they designed a system molded to give hope to poor and broken people, even to the point of TAKING their last dollar. I do not work for, or use GNC products. However they are a less sinister company and I would prefer to use their laboratory foods over Advoscare.

"God bless and have a blessed week", anyone can quote a few spiritual comments and pretend to be a Christian organization Advocare. How long do you think that this angle will work when you are robbing people daily. If you believe in this magic bean juice then by all means mix it up in a bowl of Wheaties and end up like Bruce Jenner.

I truly do not care. So take your 24 hour challenge and building champions market schemes and take them to the special place in *** that is waiting for you.

Original review May 08, 2015

Things that you might want to know before making the unnecessary mistake of joining the Advocare scam.

About 2 months ago I tried a product called spark. It is a caffeine loaded product much like NOS or Red bull. It did not taste as good, but almost had the same amount of energy. There are a lot of mediocre products on the market, but this group, during their moral pow-wow's, carry on like this product came from the holy grail. Interesting session where people get and carry on about their pathetic live and bad judgment calls. How they were earlier broke because of poor business decisions, but Advocare "saved their lives". Giving them a brain wasted purpose to "sell, sell, sell". It was significantly worse than AMWAY. The group consisted of a lot of different, easily maniplulated, sports "types" - ie. Gym coaches, personal trainers and athletes that didn't make the cut. A lot of the physiques of these "athletes" decided that one part of their body was more important to develop than the rest of body, so their bodies were completely out of proportion. This reminded me of my youth when visiting the circus. The additional people at this event were more like people that lived on a McDonald's value meal diet, trying to become like the rest of the "Avotards".

As for the Dollar aspect, I had used my debit card to purchase a trial run of this so called "amazing" spark. The next thing that I know, going down the pyramid scam lane, a package shows up at my door step addressed to someone else but charged to my credit card. I then proceed to address this matter with what seemed to me as two lobotomized "customer" service representatives who REFUSED to refund the money back to my credit card UNLESS I spent MORE money with Advocare. Eventually Dominque, the 2nd "customer" representative, talked with her supervisor who stated that "I would NOT get a refund". They told me that they could change the name on the invoice to mine and I could BECOME A ADVOCARE DISTRIBUTOR!!!! This way I could SAVE MONEY ON FUTURE ADVOCARE PURCHASES!!! All while getting a discount. Ok....... Really!!! This is not what I was expecting. Her attitude, WITH A GIGGLE IN HER VOICE implied I should go pound sand. If you are fooled into the delusional mind set that you will not get robbed, AND YOU WILL BEOME RICH FROM THIS SCAM, your thinking would be the equivalent of going to Vegas and betting parts of your soul in a game of craps and consistently rolling SNAKE EYES!!

If someone approaches you at a gym, box or athletic event trying to push this "legal" drug on you, call authorities and have them removed from the venue. The caffeine in Spark is a good boost in energy, however their goal is nothing more then habitual, financial rape.

I would also like to ask anyone if they have had one of these "Avotard's" in their circle pushing/using this substance and find out a few years later struggling from kidney, liver failure, brain tumors or aneurisms contact me so that I may compile data to acquire a grant to have this companies chemicals investigated further.

I am not any of the distributors, but my crossfit instructor how ever is, he has asked me if would like to be a distributor, he has told me this is not a get rich or make a lot of money kinda of thing its just something to do on the side, If you put a lot of time and effort in to it yes you can make good money. Everyone has an their own opinion in whats good money.

For me an extra 300$ a week isnt bad, not that i make it because i dont sell this product, but he told me he puts very little effort into selling this stuff maybe a few posts on facebook, co-workers @ his full time job. And yes you are correct this product is not for everyone, take samples if your body dosnt like it do not continue as all and most products in a vitamin or gnc store will say..

P.S. The only people who win in a MLM organization, regardless of product, is the owners of the MLM.

If you're looking to make money, stay away from MLM organizations - this is more of a hobby than a career. If a company wants to to spend money to work for them, you're probably looking at MLM.

Way to defend - at least come up with a more convincing post. I am sure all the people that have complained about being scammed are in the minority? If anyone wants their money back for a product they purchased under different assumptions or promises - they should be refunded their money - period.

Although I have no affiliation with nor do business with this company, I think your testimonial would have more impact and credibility without the insults, "Advo-tard, Advo-scare, etc..." As a consumer who is researching a product, it is helpful to read these testimonials, but takes away from the impact with childish insults are used.

I would have called the better business Bureau and my bank to revert the charges! What they did was fraudulent and then to try to get you to become a sales rep for a better price?

Seriously!!! Who do they have working for their company? Children?

You should have stopped them there.

Dont trust ignorant individuals and companies

AVO*Advocare - Fraudulent Charges

I had two charges on my credit card from Advocare followed by a credit that didn't add up to the total of the charges. I didn't order anything and it wasn't my charge.

When I called Advocare they said they needed my credit card number to see what happened, but I wasn't going to give that out. They couldn't match the charges to my name and wouldn't do anything unless I gave them my cc info. So I called my CC and cancelled the card.

This is a fraudulent company. What a scam to make multiple false charges and then a credit so it looks like it's been removed - but when you add them up and the credit is for less than the original charges - a sneaky way to make some money.

I had much the same experience when I called Advocare about the charges they made against my credit card. They refused to do anything unless I provided them with my credit card number. There should be something that could be done to bring legal action against them - they are attempting to steam with their actions.

Charge on my credit card I did not authorize.

I looked at my statement and saw a charge from Advocare Intl. for 70.00

This charge was not made by me.

I called the company and I was told there was an order made in my name and address. I have seen many people have had this happen to them by this company. I alerted my bank who immediately canceled my credit card, and are going to start an investigation into this matter. I also sent an e-mail to the Attorney General here in Florida

Pam Bondi.

I suggest anyone else who has had a fraudulent charge with this company do the same. If there are a number of complaints with the same person/company, the Attorney General of your state will investigate.

Credit card fraud

On January 23 I saw that a company called Advocare in Texas had charged my check card account two charges for almost $200 that day, but I had never even heard of them, let alone bought their product! I had to call my card company to report the fraud and get a new card.

A few other people I found in a google search had similar issues with this company. If they are a real company, this is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. I'm not sure if I would ever buy from them if there's a risk they could use my checking account like a pile of free money.

If I hadn't checked my statement, I wouldn't have noticed until my rent check bounced. If Advocare is reading this, please know that either you have dishonest employees or someone has stolen your company's information for this scam.

I am on Day #9 of the 24-Day Jumpstart - and I have nothing but good things to say. I replaced 1/2 gallon of regular soda with 2 Sparks a day.

No headaches! I have followed the healthy eating guides about 85% of the time so far, and I'm down roughly 8 pounds. No fried foods, no white carbs, no soda, no alcohol, no red meat, and limiting dairy. I couldn't be more pleased with AdvoCare and highly recommend it to others.

I am looking forward to finishing the 24-Day Jumpstart strong. DO - Use the journal to track your intake and progress, drink your water, pay attention to what you are eating, and take your supplements.

Find a buddy or lean on your distributor for encouragement & support. DON'T - let the negativity of others dull your spark!

Fraud?

I received a charge to my credit card of around $200 at the beginning of the year. Not recognizing it, I immediately called AdvoCare.

I had never dealt with them after I looked over their products on their website. They admitted that it was a fraudulent charge and said they would issue a credit. A month later, still no credit. I called again.

They had no record of my earlier call, but after insisting that they "look harder" they did and said a credit had been authorized, but would take a week to 10 days (?) to go through.

Still no credit received another month later. I think this company was behind the fraudulent charge in the first place so beware of giving them your credit card number.

A sucker born every minute

People sell advocare for one reason: to make money off of you. If anyone tells you any differently they are *** down your back and telling you it's raining.

These people who sell it go to a convention and have the equivalent of a religious revival. They get brainwashed into believing they can not only look and feel great but make a lot of money doing it. Because they believe that, they are desperate to sell it to you. Back in the 70's people were finding salvation in religion.

Today they're finding salvation at the altar of free enterprise. At your expense. Hey, if Drew Brees says so, it must be true!

As far as results, anyone who methodically does anything with commitment will see change. You don't need expensive supplements.

Anyone who tells you that your body is full of toxins is dead wrong. If your body were full of toxins you would be really sick. Your kidneys, liver and GI tract are made for "cleansing" your body.

If this expensive, not-needed supplement system works for you, wonderful. But you can get the same results with eating right and exercise.

Sounds like you've been burned before or you got "pulled" in but were never able to make any money so you poo-poo the whole idea as just a money maker. Sad how ignorance of this level still exists in the world today.

There is plenty of research that indicates "eating right" is no longer what it used to be when our great-grandparents and grand parents were growing up. There is virtually no top-soil left, farming methods are designed to get food to market as soon as possible, which actually affects nutrient density of fruits and vegetables, our meats have hormones, our water has fluoride, the air we breathe is contaminated with so many chemicals it boggles the mind to contemplate (unless you live up in the mountains away from industry and carbon monoxide pollution), our lifestyles are filled with stress ranging from how our kids do in school to being as competitive as possible in our work to get the next promotion to keeping up with constant rising living expenses and taxes (hence, this is why people seek out something like AdvoCare, to make some extra money to pay bills, etc) and your silly little mind focuses on all the negative connotations, typical of someone who a) had a negative experience and just wants to lash out, or b) "tried it" but didn't make any money, so it must not "work", or c) a combination of the two, 'a' and 'b' with a bit of not knowing how to either follow directions of leadership and/or not having above average networking skills. Either way, you are living a jaded life and really need to do something to bust out of the "box" and find yourself. Perhaps a retreat might help.

Or better yet, move to a state that has legalized marijuana and smoke about a pound of it - who knows, you might get some enlightenment and "find" yourself and your calling. Blessings.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-979905

Thanks for the enlightenment. You're right, I need to go find myself.

A nice retreat maybe with lots of marijuana! Sounds like you've completely drank the Kool Aid. Yup, all our fruits and vegetables suck and we are filled with toxins toxins toxins from the air and everything else. Eating well and exercising are just just just not enough.

I guess Advocare can solve all this! By spending lots of money and taking a supplement, all my nutritional needs will be met! Which our body doesn't actually use much and mostly pees out. By following the program designed to make me buy lots and lots of products.

Thank you for the sincere guidance. Yes, we are so much more stressed than our grandparents....who came here off the boat and couldn't find jobs because they were immigrants and had to stand in line to pick fruit for 2 cents a day only to be denied. You're the one needing educating and a dose of reality.

Hope you can live with yourself selling snake oil and lies to people looking to improve their health.

Guest

'People sell advocare for one reason: to make money off of you.'

People sell cell phone plans for one reason: to make money off of you.

People sell pork fried rice for one reason: to make money off of you.

People sell tax services for one reason: to make money off of you.

People who have/seek a sense for business can understand it. Yes, it can be a real turn-off, but it's also used everywhere from professional sales meetings at Nike, phone calls from JP Morgan, even Jiffy Lube on the side of the road.

The so-called scheme is nothing more than a sales 'spiff' commission structure for Advocare's armada of independent salespeople and keep everyone motivated. Show up to a morning staff meeting at Walmart, and you'll turn around and talk to Advocare again.

Guest

No not all of us are selling to make money!!! I take Advocare because they help with certain medical issues I have!!

Not all their products are for weight loss!! I know at least 3-4 people that take the products but are not working on selling it!!

Guest

They actually do work if you actually follow the directions. No, they are NOT magic.

Duh.

They are "supplements", meaning they SUPPLEMENT your HEALTHY diet and exercise. Not rocket science.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-944420

Well you got part of it right. The healthy diet and exercise, and WORK or EFFORT is all you need.

WHY does one need a supplement? SPARK for "energy"? It's caffeine. You certainly have no need of a "cleanse" to "kick off" a diet.

Cleansing what and why? This is the problem, no straight answers. And by the way, in addition to being on the program, would you like to sell the product as well? Become financially independent?

Because THAT is what this product is about. Not the healthy supplements, the pyramid structure. If people lose weight and get healthier, it is because they are being disciplined in eating and exercise, not the supplements. Studies are now showing that not only do people not need supplements, but, over time they can be detrimental to health.

Skip the supplements, save some money, exercise and eat well.

These products are garbage. Week one, I ended up in an autoimmune flare like never before....felt like worst flu ever.

I began having terrible abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea that changed to straight mucus-like bile. I went to my MD who said this stuff is KNOWN to cause these and many more terrible things including liver failure!!! My liver enzymes were drawn and were much higher than normal. The thing that makes me the most pissed is that my distributor told me these were good things because it meant my body was "cleansing of toxins".

What kind of BS is that?? They do not even know what they are saying and it is risking peoples health!

Don't Buy It Its a Scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I tried the 24 day challenge for the second time in 4 years as t had worked for me in the past. This time I signed up as a preferred customer as I thought the discount would help me meet in purchasing more products.

I was please with the results of my products and my initial dealings with the distributor. As I continued I was encourage to buy more to get to my next discount level. However it was never explained to me that there were pay periods and your dollar amount would reset to zero if you didn't purchase $500 within 3 months. Of course it was in very small print but they never chose to educate the consumer.

What a shame. I was then encouraged to call customer service to resolve my issue because my distributor told me they're amazing !!!!

What a crock when I called they did absolutely nothing to resolve my issue. DO NOT I REPEAT FALL INTO THIS SCAM

AdvoCare Is A Part Of Our Lives!

AdvoCare Is A Part Of Our Lives! - Image 3

We started with AdvoCare in June of 2013 to simply save money on products. I was formerly a collegiate football player and Complete Nutrition junkie, but saving money made sense!

After amazing results on the 24 Day Challenge and continuing on products: - Jodi - More energy, better muscle tone, stopped drinking 3-5 Diet Sodas/day, regular gym visits - Alex - Gained 20 pounds, dropped 6% body fat (via BodPod), better workouts, stronger than I've ever been. We knew we needed to share these products and the opportunity that they represent with others. In doing that we have been fortunate enough to create an income that allows us to have OPTIONS! We paid off a $20,000 student loan in 8 months, got through a job loss, and after the birth of our first child, Payton, Jodi was able to take 10 weeks off from work, unpaid, and we didn't have to worry about where the money was going to come from.

Because AdvoCare has blessed us with an extra stream of income, Jodi is now able to work part time! That allows us to keep our beautiful baby out of day care! We are passionate about the opportunity before us, and thrilled at the thought of helping others begin to design life on their terms! I believe these products are for everyone, and I don't know a single person that couldn't use an extra couple hundred dollars a month for gas, groceries, and of course your AdvoCare products!

We are very excited to help you in any way that we can, and to see what part of the AdvoCare opportunity is right for you! Wishing you the best, Alex & Jodi www.ajlifefitness.com ajlifefitness@***.com
