I have a family member who is an avocare distributor for this product and is in fact nuts about this product and just had a stroke, MDs wondering if there is a correlation.....BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This *** could be dangerous...This is an unbelievable situation ...................I think that people need to understand what they are doing with their bodies so that a similar situation does not occur to them.

49 years old and otherwise healthy indivual with a stroke and lucky to be alive and still concerned about taking her avocare. Its almost like she has been brainwahsed.

Please pay attention to what is being put into a body.

A young (30) friend of mine, also an avid spark drinker and distributor, recently had a stroke as well.

A young lady just died of a stroke too.

this product game me the worst headaches I have ever had! It does not work nearly as well as the optimum nutrition brand I regularly buy and it is twice as expensive.

I would not recommend this product and will not be buying more.

I now have a heart problem from drinking Spark....afib. Never had a single health problem before using Advocare. Advocate has ruined my heart.

A friend of mine is 32 years old. She just had a stroke and lost a lot of weight with Advocare.

I'm wondering if there's a coorlation here. 32 is pretty young to have a stroke!

Since you have decided to remain unknown - it is hard to decide if this person had a family history - or any other health concerns (stress, overweight, etc.) setting her up for a stroke. It is NOT uncommon in women to have a stroke at 49 years of age.

It is, unfortunately, more common than one would think.

If your concern with AvoCare products with one particular section? i.e. SPARK?

One should ALWAYS limit consumption of any products that contain caffeine - Splenda and other ingredients in SPARK.

I limit mine to 1 (8oz.) serving in the morning - replacing a 4 cup cafe addiction. Even my blood pressure is down!

I had a stroke in 2008, and almost died. I was 37 and in great health.

Eat well and excerise are my norms!

Doctors still have no clue why this happened. The reason for my response is I am interested in this product, just want you and others to know strokes happen to healthy people.

I actually would not be shocked if caused a stroke. the science behind it would simply be that a clot or other blockage was forming due to prior lack of health or fluke heath issues, and then when advocare products did thier job and clences and washed through the system, they would dislodge the already existing clot or other blockage and cause the stroke. that does not mean the products are at fault, but simply moved along a preexisting condition.

Good grief.

You are the perfect example of the evil within Advocare and mlm.

Consumer-Lab did NOT rank and supplement. They NEVER SAID that Advocare was, "one of the top two"!

So, here you are - with thousands of other Advocare flag wavers - woefully under educated and completely unqualified to give nutritional, dietary, or medical advice to anyone, doing just that; spreading lies.

Anyone trusting the info coming from some mlm distributor needs to have their head checked.

Thats what I said, it was present by an independent lab. They are experts at what they do.

He says the top two choices were those two brands, so ya I trust what he says. No one is forcing anyone to buy anything. It is working for me. I've lost 26 lbs and I feel great.

If its not for you that's fine, it's not for you. No one has to "buy in" to anything. You buy it full retail, just like going to Walmart. If you want a wholesale membership that's available as well to you, offering a discount, like Costco does.

I'm seeing how this is such an evil plot honestly.

If you hate the product, don't use it. The whole point here is that the likely hood of vitamins causing a stroke is next to none.

Do your research before being ignorant out loud.

Here are a few facts about Dr. Oz and the video clip:

Advocare was not รขโ‚ฌล“featuredรขโ‚ฌย, or รขโ‚ฌล“endorsedรขโ‚ฌย by Dr. Oz, or his show.

Dr. Oz never ranked Advocare in any order, let alone the รขโ‚ฌล“top 3รขโ‚ฌย.

Dr. Oz never once mentioned Advocare, Omni-plex or any other Advocare product. Not one of the words ever crossed his lips.

Consumer Labs, a guest on the show, only tested 24 different brands of omega-3s and not รขโ‚ฌล“every one out thereรขโ‚ฌย.

Consumer Labs ONLY tested for freshness and that the product contained the amount of omega-3 that the label stated.

Consumer Labs did NOT test for quality of ingredients, efficacy of the products, bio-availability, or value.

70% of the products tested by Consumer Labs PASSED their tests! Not just the two mentioned on the show that day by Consumer Labs.

Consumer Labs also mentioned Life Extension omega-3 as being one of the 70% that passed their two tests.

So, if using a product that was mentioned by a guest, who was representing a company unaffiliated with Dr. Oz or his show, is important to you, you could save yourself a lot of money by buying one of the other 70% tested.

As an example, compare the two brands from the video clip;

Advocare costs $21.95 for 45 servings.

Life Extension costs $18.00 for 60 servings WITHOUT any รขโ‚ฌล“buy inรขโ‚ฌย, distributorship or discount.

Dr. Oz hasnรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt endorsed Advocare any ore than the Wizard of Oz has.

It was actually featured on dr oz, presented by an independent testing company. YouTube dr oz Advocare and it will pop up. Do your research before calling others ignorant.

Guest

I also should say I have been using Advocare for two months and have honestly never felt better. I was extremely skeptical but the money back guarantee made me give it a chance.

I have never looked back since. I am losing weight and feeling great. Have energy I never had before, and motivation to get healthy.

The products are high quality, and the omega plea was featured on Dr Oz as one of two top products to use. It is sure with a try.

Guest

I would be more likely to suggest that it was the years of McDonald's and diet soda that gave him a stroke. Advocare is vitamins. I'm really sorry he is not doing well, and I do hope he gets better.

Guest

I don't know much about this product but I am still skeptical. I wouldn't go as far as blame a stroke on it, however, that would still need to be research however, idiots like Big T need to shut the *** up and stop provoking violence. Big T needs to grow up

Guest

So they take one product line and now your pointing your finger at it!? If i was standing right in front of you I would pop you right in the mouth give me a freaking break!

If its so bad why are hundreds and thousands of people using it and getting results!? HMMMMMM I bet you drink alcohol? well that is one of the top killers out there. Oh and i bet you eat candy and things with sugar too well sugar causes cancer oh and we are on an epidemic for obesity which is what!?

caused by *** like that. SO instead of wasting all of our time get a life!

You ask your dr how many years they went to school for nutrition and they will say not even one! So do something besides blaming someone else!

Guest

So your telling us that the products in Advocare, the same products that are introduced into your body through everyday nutrition (unless you are all organic) are what caused the stroke? Heart attack, sure if you take more Taurine than you're body can handle.

But stroke? Strokes are blood shortages to the brain from either internal hemorraging or arterial clogs.

Nothing of which any of the ingrediants to sports supplements have been known to cause. Again, heart attack for taking it to the extreme is one thing, but that still is on the shoulders of the person who pushed themselves that hard both on and off supplements.

Guest

I am more that positive that Advocare was not the cause of your relatives stroke!!! the science and med board is there to make sure things like that don't happen!!

I hope your relative gets better!!!! 8)

Guest

@FIAdvisory... Please let us know what really caused the stroke when you find out. What happened to your friend is a very unfortunate event, and I pray she gets well soon. However, to come on here and bash a company and its products before the root cause is determined is ignorant.

This would be the first case that I've heard of vitamins and minerals causing a stroke. I'm fully convinced that Advocare products are the safest on the market and the company pays millions out each year to have a 3rd party test for banned substances and chemicals.

I wish your friend the best in her recovery, but please look elsewhere for the cause of the issue.
