People sell advocare for one reason: to make money off of you. If anyone tells you any differently they are *** down your back and telling you it's raining.

These people who sell it go to a convention and have the equivalent of a religious revival. They get brainwashed into believing they can not only look and feel great but make a lot of money doing it. Because they believe that, they are desperate to sell it to you. Back in the 70's people were finding salvation in religion.

Today they're finding salvation at the altar of free enterprise. At your expense. Hey, if Drew Brees says so, it must be true!

As far as results, anyone who methodically does anything with commitment will see change. You don't need expensive supplements.

Anyone who tells you that your body is full of toxins is dead wrong. If your body were full of toxins you would be really sick. Your kidneys, liver and GI tract are made for "cleansing" your body.

If this expensive, not-needed supplement system works for you, wonderful. But you can get the same results with eating right and exercise.

Sounds like you've been burned before or you got "pulled" in but were never able to make any money so you poo-poo the whole idea as just a money maker. Sad how ignorance of this level still exists in the world today.

There is plenty of research that indicates "eating right" is no longer what it used to be when our great-grandparents and grand parents were growing up. There is virtually no top-soil left, farming methods are designed to get food to market as soon as possible, which actually affects nutrient density of fruits and vegetables, our meats have hormones, our water has fluoride, the air we breathe is contaminated with so many chemicals it boggles the mind to contemplate (unless you live up in the mountains away from industry and carbon monoxide pollution), our lifestyles are filled with stress ranging from how our kids do in school to being as competitive as possible in our work to get the next promotion to keeping up with constant rising living expenses and taxes (hence, this is why people seek out something like AdvoCare, to make some extra money to pay bills, etc) and your silly little mind focuses on all the negative connotations, typical of someone who a) had a negative experience and just wants to lash out, or b) "tried it" but didn't make any money, so it must not "work", or c) a combination of the two, 'a' and 'b' with a bit of not knowing how to either follow directions of leadership and/or not having above average networking skills. Either way, you are living a jaded life and really need to do something to bust out of the "box" and find yourself. Perhaps a retreat might help.

Or better yet, move to a state that has legalized marijuana and smoke about a pound of it - who knows, you might get some enlightenment and "find" yourself and your calling. Blessings.

Thanks for the enlightenment. You're right, I need to go find myself.

A nice retreat maybe with lots of marijuana! Sounds like you've completely drank the Kool Aid. Yup, all our fruits and vegetables suck and we are filled with toxins toxins toxins from the air and everything else. Eating well and exercising are just just just not enough.

I guess Advocare can solve all this! By spending lots of money and taking a supplement, all my nutritional needs will be met! Which our body doesn't actually use much and mostly pees out. By following the program designed to make me buy lots and lots of products.

Thank you for the sincere guidance. Yes, we are so much more stressed than our grandparents....who came here off the boat and couldn't find jobs because they were immigrants and had to stand in line to pick fruit for 2 cents a day only to be denied. You're the one needing educating and a dose of reality.

Hope you can live with yourself selling snake oil and lies to people looking to improve their health.

'People sell advocare for one reason: to make money off of you.'

People sell cell phone plans for one reason: to make money off of you.

People sell pork fried rice for one reason: to make money off of you.

People sell tax services for one reason: to make money off of you.

People who have/seek a sense for business can understand it. Yes, it can be a real turn-off, but it's also used everywhere from professional sales meetings at Nike, phone calls from JP Morgan, even Jiffy Lube on the side of the road.

The so-called scheme is nothing more than a sales 'spiff' commission structure for Advocare's armada of independent salespeople and keep everyone motivated. Show up to a morning staff meeting at Walmart, and you'll turn around and talk to Advocare again.

Guest

No not all of us are selling to make money!!! I take Advocare because they help with certain medical issues I have!!

Not all their products are for weight loss!! I know at least 3-4 people that take the products but are not working on selling it!!

Guest

They actually do work if you actually follow the directions. No, they are NOT magic.

Duh.

They are "supplements", meaning they SUPPLEMENT your HEALTHY diet and exercise. Not rocket science.

Well you got part of it right. The healthy diet and exercise, and WORK or EFFORT is all you need.

WHY does one need a supplement? SPARK for "energy"? It's caffeine. You certainly have no need of a "cleanse" to "kick off" a diet.

Cleansing what and why? This is the problem, no straight answers. And by the way, in addition to being on the program, would you like to sell the product as well? Become financially independent?

Because THAT is what this product is about. Not the healthy supplements, the pyramid structure. If people lose weight and get healthier, it is because they are being disciplined in eating and exercise, not the supplements. Studies are now showing that not only do people not need supplements, but, over time they can be detrimental to health.

Skip the supplements, save some money, exercise and eat well.

I agree. Advocare is a gimmic.

Dymatize make their products.

Just buy Dymatize Elite protein. It is very similar and cheaper.

Advocare and Dymatize are the same company. When you buy Advocare, you're really getting Dymatize with an Advocare label.

They own the same warehouse and own the same real estate addresses.

Advocare had a recall of Spark manufactured by guess who...Dymatize.

so unfortunately I jumped of this bandwagon. I took the product I liked it so I said lets make some extra cash and have I don't that?

NO, because im not a liar and don't want people to blow there money on something that they don't need. its expensive and really unnecessary to use the products. will power a good diet and motivation is really all you need. I went to a advocare "mixer" and was there for 20 minutes and realized how screwed up these people are.

they are brainwashed for sure I was scared they were going to make me drink the punch. I have no ties with this product anymore

Wait.....so I shouldn't listen to Drew Breed? *** it!!!

I agree with your post. The job of the liver is to detox so why do we need supplements to do the same thing?

I didn't investigate the contents before I bought the challenge from a family member. The cleansing phase: senna and fiber. Why do I need to spend that money for that? The spark?

Caffeine equivalent to two cups of coffee. I am very sensitive to caffeine and prefer to have my coffee in the morning and nothing after that. So the energy everyone claims to get is just a couple cups of coffee. Moving on to the max phase: I could not stomach the pills.

I didn't realize how many pills I would have to take and some of them gagged me to get them down. They are huge with a bad taste.

I became nauseous shortly after taking some of them...most likely anything with vitamins in it. So I am sticking to clean eating and exercise.

No one is forcing anyone to buy these products. I have lots of friends that use advocare products and love them.

I know several people that sell them as well and I have never felt brainwashed or anything like what you have described.

I don't personally use them myself because of medications I'm on and no one has ever made me feel bad for not trying them. You have obviously been talking to the wrong people.

I would like to know how many hours of cellular physiology these "experts" have who are writing in about toxins in the body. Really?

They probably don't even have a clue of what disbiosis is....look it up Mr. smart guy.

You are probably one of those that believes our medical society is here for your health, even when the average medical doctor graduates medical school with less that 50 hours of nutrition and cellular biology. By the way, I have hundreds of hours in these fields and have been in the health care field for more than 20 years.

You misspelled "dysbiosis". It happens in the GI tract when the normal flora is out of balance, usually because of a strong antibiotic or chronic disease/inflammation.

I know this not because of Google but because I'm an RN who works in endoscopy/colonoscopy. Drinking an "herbal cleanse" would not benefit or help this; may even irritate the problem.

A probiotic might. Why do I need a degree in cellular physiology to know that the sellers of Advocare are blatantly deceiving people who don't know any better?

Guest

I use Advocare products because I love them! Don't want to live without my morning shake and Spark. I don't sell the products but I can definitely stand behind them after using them for two years.

Guest

I was in the ER twice in 48 hours b/c my body reacted to Silicon dioxide, what implants were made of and then banned. My Dr.

told me it is like putting radiation into your body. Silicon Dioxide has to attach to something in your body so it will attach to whatever it comes in contact with...cells, muscles...so now I have to wait until the bad cells are out and my good cells take over.

I will never use this product again!!!!

Guest

your doctor is a fool. Silicon is a natural substance that is found in some foods, and your body needs to metabolize some minerals for joints.

it is not silicon dioxide as in breast implants. What an ***

I really wish this anonymous poster would tell us his secret super-advocare identity. Yes, I am sure that these so called "healers" with their MD's are full of it.

I am sure that an Advocare rep.

knows much more than these yahoo's who have gone to 4 years of medical school, have done a 4 year residency, and most likely a fellowship will ever know. Do you even know how *** you sound?
