The (US)RDA of Niacin is only 14 mg. Spark has 60 mg.

Add to that the amount of Niacin in MNS 3 (45 mg) =105mg of Niacin!

105mg!!! That is 7.5 times MORE than the recommended amount, AND that is only two of their many "weight loss" products that has it!!! People...this company is poisoning us. I showed the products I was taking to my Dr.

and he was FLOORED! He explained to me that the amount of Niacin ALONE could have caused major damage. The sad part about all this? The person who SOLD this product to me IS A DOCTOR!!!!

Educate yourselves. Request a copy of the ingredient list to show your Dr. BEFORE you buy any product!!! These people are in it for the $$$ they say they care about you and your health...it's *** folks.

Pure and simple snake oil sales tactics. They need to be shut down.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

The baseline for vitamin B3 (Niacin) is 16mg for men and 14mg for women, but that is a very general baseline. Many doctors will actually advise upwards of 50mg per day for men.

Since it is water soluble, it's actually rather difficult to get too much, there are even methods of increasing B3 daily to prompt flushing (increase of blood circulation) in order to help with Cholesterol and Triglycerides.

That process often goes up to 1,000 - 3,000mg per day (again important to note that the amount slowly increases daily and with food consumption only as directed by a doctor). Please get your facts straight before ranting and using scare tactics.

That's a water soluble B vitamin that is simply excreted intact when your body doesn't need it because it is not stored by the body. Look at your food labels.

Many foods (including daily servings of fruits, veggies and meats) contain far more niacin than that.

Not sure what kind of Dr told you it was so horrifying, but they must not know much about the human diet & nutrients. That's kind of nutrition 101.

Niacin is sold in 500mg to reduce cholesterol-OTC. It is also prescribed in higher doses.

Your comment doesn't makes sense. I am not an Avocare user BTW.

Niacin can and is used at much higher dosages than 14 mg. It it used to help aid in the treatment of many different health issues where GRAMS are the daily dosage.

14 mg is what the female should consume at a MINIMUM on a daily basis. Maybe you should be the one to do more research before bashing a company or its products.
