Can't emphasize enough how little value there is in buying Advocare products. Seems like yet another multilevel marketing plan to fleece customers, lighten wallets with nothing remotely close to any effective products.

The distributor claims there is a 100% money back policy.

Can't wait to see how they handle this since everyone must want their money back given the uselessness of the products.

If you read these reviews and still buy the product, follow directions religiously, you lose nothing but your money.

It's a scam - pure and simple. It's a complete waste of money and the negative reviews will only increase as more people are scammed.

Monetary Loss: $182.

I recently joined a Crossfit gym and within a few weeks realized it was not for me. The trainers actually, IMHO, went too far.

They didn't seem to care that the sixty year old man or woman that had not worked out in years or possibly never, needed time to build up to an expert level. I had taken a fifteen year break from workouts and had become grossly overweight and out of shape- that didn't seem to register with them either and I am much younger than sixty. I noticed the intense pains I was feeling from the WOD's and decided to go back to my basics that I had learned in my youth. BUT I had already bought the Advocare 24 day program.

So 4 months later I decided since I cannot return it why not use it. NOT worth it! I lost six pounds on it and felt no better even with the watchful eye of an Advocare distributor. I added running and a normal run-of-the-mill gym back in to my daily routine.

I am up to three miles per run and making slow gains in the gym, the biggest part is I am losing size (in a good way) since I have decided to measure my fat rather than weight it. I modified my diet to eliminate sugar, fried foods, and processed foods; nothing but fresh meats, seafoods, veggies, fruits, and complex carbs. ALL homemade! I have also stopped doing the Advocare system since I didn't like all of the products I had to take, what seemed like, every minute of the day.

Better to go natural with food and exercise.

Great article. Thanks!!

I agree, talk to a doctor before doing anything. You never know what kind of side effects aren't mentioned.

Advocare products have changed my life. Not all things work with everyone.

Sorry you had such a bad experience.

I've did some research before I started the products and their return rate was stated as less than 1/10 of 1 percent. Me and my wife have never felt better.

How about you dont just post that the product is bad, like a ***. You should really include some fact in your post.

All I see here is the opinions of an individual who is not qualified to say one way or the other. NOT HELPFUL

Guest

Actually that not true. Ive lost 44 pounds using Advocare. Its a great product and I feel great!!!!

must be a smart "scam", especially considering Drew Brees is the company's national spokesperson! I don't think an elite athlete of this category would be involved with a company that was not legit.

Especially considering that Mr.

Brees is a NON PAID ENDORS... I would be curious of your motivation to make such comments though...

I wouldn't say Advocare is a scam at all. However, anyone who has been around the block a few times can see that it is an overpriced product that targets people who do not really know what they are doing.

As far as the individual products in and of themselves; I think they are comparable to a lot of similar products you can get for half the price without dealing with distributors or the pressures of trying to sell products in order to get a "discount". Drew Brees' speaks nothing to the value of the product. Advocare works similar to a lot of less expensive products and Brees gets to use Advocare without paying for it. Big deal.

My brother in law endorsed a lot of products in the past that he didn't really think were the greatest.

Why? because he got huge free shipments of the products to his door everyday.

I understand your point, but people have literal scientific proof on particular side effects of Advocare products. I think they research their products, and I'm sure their are plenty of honest people involved, but I'd immediately tell someone to visit their primary care physician before trying it. Everyone is different.

I lost about 168 lbs on Advocare. My ex bought one bundle for me and one for her to try together, then fell in love with the guy who sold it to us and left with him...

she weighed about 168 so, yeah, I lost about 168 lbs. Other than that, it did nothing for me.

Dude talk to your doctor first but congratulations. It's difficult to lose weight, but I have a feeling it was your daily habits that changed.

There are side effects to these products, and I'd advise anyone to see a doctor first.

I use to be an advisor, so I know first hand the positive and negative reactions of Advocare. I no longer advise in Advocare as there are no company doctors to help others.

so you have done the 24 day challenge?

Have you smoked crack?

No one needs to smoke crack in order to understand it's effects. The same goes for the 24 Day Challenge.

No on should ever consume something without fully understanding what it might to them first.

If you ask any Registered Dietitian or Licensed Nutritionist, they would tell you that the safe, recommended amount of weight to lose is only 1-2 lbs per week. If you started exercising or changing your diet in the "24 day trial" that is more likely why you experienced weight loss.

1-2 pounds per week is not relevant under proper conditions. That is not based by any scientific study.

I started advocare because a friend of mine went from a size 16 to a 4 and has kept it off over a year. I was a little skeptical as I am with most things.

So i tried the 24 day challange and the 4th day I felt so good i cant even describe it. The first 12 days i lost 13 pounds without any exercise. I had so much energy that I joined a gym on day 13 and started exercising, mostly with weights. Over the next 13 days I lost an additional 5% body fat and gained 10 pounds of muscle (this was according to a body analyzer a trainer put me on) The trainer was amazed.

I had great results.

I am glad i realized some people who write bad reviews don't have a clue. Advocare, I'm ALL IN!

She said according to body analyzer the trainer put on her, maybe it's not true... But if not, it doesn't mean that she was lying. It could have been the equipment or not using it correctly.
